Warren E. Hill, MD

Dr. Hill received his medical degree from the University of Arizona and did his residency training in ophthalmology at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. Dr. Hill is best known for his work on highly accurate IOL power calculations and serves as a consultant to industry in the field of intraocular lens mathematics. He has published extensively, served as visiting professor for grand rounds at many institutions, delivered numerous named lectures and has presented more than 200 clinical papers on cataract surgery and IOL power calculations at both national and international meetings in 22 countries and on six continents including live surgery demonstrations in North America, South America and in Europe. Dr. Hill has been a contributor and reviewer for many ophthalmic journals including the Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Techniques in Ophthalmology and Cataract and Refractive Surgery Today whose membership voted him "One of the Top 50 Opinion Leaders in Cataract and Refractive Surgery" for two consecutive years. In 2004, Dr. Hill was elected to the International Intra-Ocular Implant Club, which is limited to 250 master eye surgeons. In 2005 Dr. Hill was elected to the Board of Directors of the American Board of Eye Surgery.
