Rahul T. Pandit, MD
Dr. Pandit earned his medical degree at Rush University Medical College in Chicago, then did his ophthalmology residency and fellowship in cornea, external diseases, and refractive surgery at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He is a partner in practice at Medical Center Ophthalmology in Houston, Texas, and serves as a clinical assistant professor of ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine. A cornea specialist, he has obtained advanced training in many types of surgery, including cataract surgery, corneal transplantation, and LASIK and other forms of refractive surgery.
Dr. Pandit has acted as principal investigator for clinical research trials, authored several papers, co-chaired a refractive symposium at ASCRS, and participated on committees for educational development for the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He teaches ophthalmology residents and other health professionals, including medical students, physician assistants, and nursing students.
