2010 OKAP Exam

The Ophthalmic Knowledge Assessment Program (OKAP) is an in-training ophthalmology examination offered annually by the American Academy of Ophthalmology for ophthalmology residency programs in the United States and Canada.

In 2010 the OKAP examination will be administered on Saturday, April 17. All correspondence for the OKAP exam should be forwarded to ACT Inc. through the Residency Program Director's office. Applications must be received by ACT Inc., no later than January 8, 2010. All special accommodations or site change requests must be received by ACT Inc., with appropriate documentation by February 12, 2010.

Tentative Exam dates

The dates below are tentative. Each date will be confirmed in May prior to the year of the next exam. Before confirming plans around the OKAP dates, please be sure that the exam date in question has been confirmed.

The tentative 2011 date of the OKAP examination is Saturday, April 16.

The tentative 2012 date of the OKAP examination is Saturday, April 14.

Dates for the 2013 OKAP and beyond have not yet been considered.
