J. Timothy Stout, MD, PhD, MBA
Dr. Stout is an associate professor of Ophthalmology at Casey Eye Institute in Portland, Oregon. He received his medical degree and a doctorate in molecular genetics from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where he also completed a fellowship in human genetics. Dr. Stout completed his ophthalmology residency at Doheny Eye Institute in Los Angeles followed by a fellowship in medical retina at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London and one in surgical retina at Doheny Eye Institute. Dr. Stout’s research interests include human gene therapy for proliferative and inherited ocular disease, retinal disease genotype-phenotype correlation, and ocular disease gene mapping.
