Dr. Lee is currently a professor of ophthalmology, neurology and neurosurgery at the Weill Cornell Medical College in New York and chair of ophthalmology at The Methodist Hospital in Houston. He is adjunct professor of ophthalmology at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City and clinical professor of ophthalmology at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Dr. Lee serves on the editorial boards of 12 journals, including the American Journal of Ophthalmology, the Canadian Journal of Ophthalmology and Eye. He has published over 270 peer-reviewed articles, 40 book chapters and five full textbooks in ophthalmology.
