Complementary Therapy Assessments evaluate treatments in eye care and develop an opinion on their safety and effectiveness based on available scientific evidence, in order to inform ophthalmologists and their patients. Guidelines and Assessments are developed by the Quality of Care Secretariat of the Academy without any external financial support.
